Faux Brioche aka 2 color Fisherman's Rib

Using a stitch called knit one below (and purl one below) we can create a fabric that mimics the look of the super popular brioche stitch. This fabric is still very stretchy though not reversible like the brioche. The process does take some practice but can become very mindless quickly and is great for shawls and tv watching.
Cast on 16
Knit 3 rows in main color
Row 1 (contrast color): K2, *K1B, K1*, K2
slide back to the beginning with right side facing.
Row 2 (main color): P2, *K1,K1B*, P2
turn to wrong side facing
Row 3 (contrast color): P2, *P1,P1B*, P2
slide back to beginning of row with wrongnside facing
Row 4 (main color): K2,*P1B, P1), K2
repeat rows 1-4 6 more times
knit 3 rows
Bind off loosely
Knit 3 rows in main color
Row 1 (contrast color): K2, *K1B, K1*, K2
slide back to the beginning with right side facing.
Row 2 (main color): P2, *K1,K1B*, P2
turn to wrong side facing
Row 3 (contrast color): P2, *P1,P1B*, P2
slide back to beginning of row with wrongnside facing
Row 4 (main color): K2,*P1B, P1), K2
repeat rows 1-4 6 more times
knit 3 rows
Bind off loosely
Knit one below (K1B) and Purl one below (P1B)
